More Diamonds and Triangles

I've now completely re warped since my HNC, so it's nice to do something completely different though I didn't really expect my new warp to be quite such a departure. I had a nice ochre yellow and some lovely purples and to use a single colour of each one would have used up all of that colour. So in moment of what seemed like inspiration at the time and what seems "oh my" now, I decided to do a striped warp. This is the result -

It's a bit of a bobby dazzler.

I decided to wrap the warp around paper which is another departure for me as I usually use sticks, the reason I changed is that sticks add quite a lot of bulk to the warp and there's not a lot of space between my two beams, so I can only beam a short amount of warp before the two beams rub together, not good. But I have been plagued by tension troubles, it's so frustrating, I've got no problems with the top layer which I did with sticks so it must be the paper and me not able to maintain the tension when beaming - never again.

The whole thing is growing on me and I'm not disappointed, it's nice to see the blocks develop.
