Setting Up

That's me, more or less set up for the end of course show at Bradford. I'm really pleased with it. Carole's partner John helped me put up my shelves which I'm really grateful for. It would have been a nightmare otherwise. The degree students work is very good and there is good comraderie between the two groups.

Nearly There

Only two days before I attend Bradford for what will be the final time. I've enjoyed it immensely though it's been challenging and frustrating as well. I've found it difficult to interpret my art work into weave as I seem to find it easier to play on the loom, I appreciate that this is running into something and potentially wasteful but my weaving knowledge and more than that my knowledge of yarn interaction is such that I can't visualize my end result. Sometimes I've been lucky, more often than not I've had to accept what I weave, good or bad. I'm free after this weekend to do what I want but I am nervous, I do feel like a child in a sweetie shop, overawed by the choices in front of me.

I've posted a couple of teaser photo's as I don't want to spoil the reveal on Friday.
